Yoga Basics with Al Dewsnap

Sunday, October 1 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm

Have you been desiring to try yoga but don’t know where to start? Hesitating to sign up for your first class? Or maybe you’ve taken some classes but just want to get back to basics and strengthen your foundation!
In this 2-hour workshop, you will break down the fundamentals of yoga at a beginner level. We will spend the first half of class reviewing basic poses, alignment, and how to use the different props and equipment in a yoga studio for support and modifications, with an opportunity for adjustments and Q&A with the instructor. In our second hour, we’ll walk through a beginner-friendly flow and yin sequence to piece together everything we’ve learned for a balanced, strong and relaxing practice. The studio will provide mats, a printout with key information, and all props!
